High entropy alloys were the subject of Huys Industries’ latest article in the Welding Journal. High entropy alloys (HEA) differ from traditional alloys in that they can have five or more elements in relatively equal percentages, and have “disordered” structures. Huys has done extensive research with HEAs and our electrospark deposition equipment to build off the inherent advantages of both the materials and our technology.
