Huys Industries is pleased to announce the installation of an automated Low Energy Welding (LEW) system at the NRC Aerospace in Montreal. LEW is the latest evolution of electrospark deposition, and can permit complete metallurgical bonding of metals and cermets without a heat affected zone or residuals stresses. It can also weld some dissimilar materials and can be used for surface modification, repair and joining. This capability is also being implemented into the production of our titanium coated caps!
